Payment Posting and Reconciliation Agent
Match the remittance to the money and the patient account

What the agent can handle
- Reads ERA data and approved EOB formats
- Extracts claim, service-line, payment, adjustment, and patient-responsibility fields
- Posts approved payments and adjustments to the configured account location
- Matches remittance information to approved read-only payment or deposit records
- Compares reimbursements with available contracted rates or fee schedules when provided
- Identifies missing deposits, amount mismatches, underpayments, and unsupported transactions
- Sends exceptions to staff with the source data and reason
- Preserves posting, edit, match, and review history
Financial access stays limited to the approved task
Any access to banking or payment information must be explicitly approved and configured for the minimum required workflow. Reconciliation uses read-only access only. Rinova does not move funds, initiate transfers, or access an organization's unrestricted banking environment.
Connect the sources that already define payment
Rinova maps the remittance source, posting destination, deposit record, fee schedule, adjustment rules, and exception ownership. The agent is validated against matched, partially matched, and unmatched cases before live use.
Payment Posting and Reconciliation questions
Yes, when paired with Rinova's document ingestion workflow. The EOB can be scanned, processed through OCR, and sent into the approved posting and reconciliation process with confidence-based review.
It can compare received amounts with approved fee schedules or contracted rates when those sources are available and configured. Variances can be routed for staff review or another approved action.
No transaction authority should be implied. Reconciliation can use approved read-only information and should follow the customer's access and security requirements.
